Our team at Zonda Beneficials is passionate about 'Horticulture' and the relevant research. We have recently joined with MPI (Ministry of primary industries, NZ) to conduct a research about Bumblebees and other beneficial organisms to benefit the NZ grower community.

This research will look into the possibility of increasing the longevity of bumblebee hives once they are out and about in the commercial crops, and developing a mass breeding system for A. limonicus. The later is an NZ native and very efficient predatory mite of a wide range of horticultural pests such as aphids, whiteflies, psyllids, thrips etc.

This research project will be three years long, and four of our team members (Project chairperson- Mr. Roelf Schreuder; Principal scientist- Dr. Gunjan Gera; Research advisor- Dr. Jo Stephens; Research associate- Mr. Daniel Neil) will be actively working on this. Keep following us for updates and more exciting research.
